Office Administrator

SK+I is a nationally recognized, award-winning architecture firm located right by the Bethesda Metro station steps away from downtown Bethesda. We are looking to fill the Office Administrator position. This candidate will be expected to be in office full-time to provide administrative support to all levels of staff.

We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to join our team. This is a full-time position requiring an array of skills and experience to serve our clients and firm members in an efficient and timely manner.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General administrative duties that include answering and directing phone calls, announcing guests, and upkeep of conference rooms, kitchen, and other common areas
  • Manage the reception area and staff to ensure effective communication both internally and externally
  • Sort and track mail, order and maintain office supplies/equipment, coordinate travel arrangements, schedule and setup meetings, organize and maintain files
  • Provide office guests with a hospitable experience
  • Supervise the maintenance of office areas, equipment, and facilities
  • Assist with company marketing efforts
  • Assist Principals, CFO and managers with various tasks including formatting and proofing of proposals, contracts, schedules, and logs
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent proofing, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Must be punctual, well-organized and detail oriented
  • A positive, energetic, self-starter with ability to troubleshoot and wear many hats
  • Ability to respond well to last minute, high priority, time sensitive projects
  • Ability to prioritize requests and functions appropriately
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and social media platforms preferred
  • Interest in A/E/C industry preferred.
