Thanks to all who came out to our office to drink, eat, bid and meet the skilled artisans of Maya Traditions! You helped us raise $6,000 for a great cause. Learn more about this World Fair Trade Organization here.
Guatemalan artisans of Maya Traditions at the SK+I office in Bethesda.
The artisans demonstrated the art of backstrap weaving.
Duane Howard, best known for his role as “Elk Dog” in The Revenant, made an appearance at the office with Unlocking Silence Histories in support of Maya Traditions.
We had a large selection of handmade items such as scarves, handbags, artwork, accessories, and more in our silent auction.
