5500 Wisconsin Avenue will be an 18-story mixed-use building with 300 residential units and 11,000 SF of ground floor retail. The Montgomery County planning board recently gave unanimous approval for 5500 Wisconsin Avenue in the Village of Friendship Heights — the first new residential building approved in over 20 years.
