Construction Updates in Crown Farm, Buckhead, NoMa, Buzzard Point
Aventon Crown is expected to deliver this Fall. Aventon Crown is part of the 182-acre mixed-use master-planned Crown community in Montgomery County. This seven-story, mixed-use residential apartment building will be home to 386 units. It will be comprised of 353,000 SF of residential and 2,730 SF of retail. Amenities include co-working lounges, yoga studio, entertainment lounges, demo kitchen, pet spa, bike storage, resort-style pool, and stunning views of Sugarloaf Mountain. SK+I is also doing the interiors for this project.
The Burton is moving along nicely. Its first phase, Elevation at Washington Gateway, was completed in 2014 and comprised of 350,000 square feet of residential, 5,000 square feet of retail, and 400 apartments. Phase II has a total of 387 units and 340,000 residential square feet. The Burton will deliver by end of this year.
These views from Verge at Buzzard Point are going to be even more incredible when done in 2022. Verge is a 10-story, 344-unit mixed-use apartment building located in the emerging Buzzard Point neighborhood of the Capital Waterfront. Its exciting location puts it one block from Audi Field, one block from the Anacostia River, and three blocks from the Nationals Park.
Verizon Center, also know as Sage, is a 306-unit, 20-story apartment building undergoing construction and is close to topping out. This mixed-use tower is the “companion” to Altaire, which sits adjacent to this site. These massive developments aim to bring together Crystal City and Pentagon City. The Sage is expected to deliver September 2022.
Northwest One has topped out! This 7-story residential apartment building is located in the bustling NoMa neighborhood. Of the 220 units of this project, 150 are affordable units based on the New Communities program. This is the first building of a planned phased development, and is expected to complete in Fall 2022.
Phase II of Modera Prominence will top out at the end of September! The residential building will deliver 395 units and 450,000 sf of retail located in Atlanta’s prospering Buckhead neighborhood. Its upscale and unique amenities play into the exclusivity and elegance of living in Buckhead. Phase II will complete in 2022
