In the Community: SK+I Donates Most Cans for CANstruction 2016

Our CANstruction event was a success! Thank you to Washington Architectural Foundation, AIA|DC, Capital Area Food Bank, SK+I staff, friends, family, clients and consultants for making helping us donate well over 5,500 canned goods to help feed the hungry. We also received recognition for Outstanding Contribution! And of course a huge applause to ALL the teams and supporters for bringing in 70,000 tons of food and $6,000+ to The Capital Area Food Bank.
This year’s CANstruction theme is Movie Night. With the comeback of Pokémon in recent months, we decided to create a recognizable sculpture, Squirtle, to bridge the gap between those who grew up having seen Pokémon the Movie to those who fell in love with chasing Pokémon around DC.
