What Jon Wallenmeyer brings to SK+I is a vast perspective of the industry. A veteran in the real estate/development field, Jon offers clients the owner’s perspective throughout the design and construction process. In his 30 years of professional experience in the architecture field, Jon has been hands-on in all facets of the process from project conception to completion. Jon has extensive experience in adaptive reuse, as well as new construction with residential, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional projects.

Jon’s vision and high attention to detail allow him to manage large complex projects that win awards. His accolades include three NAHB Multi-Family Pillars of the Industry Awards, Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission Awards, and a Multi-Family Executive Project of the Year Award.

Jon was formerly Vice President of Development at Forest City and was responsible for national award-winning projects in Chicago, Philadelphia, Richmond, Miami, Rhode Island, and the Washington, DC Metropolitan area and was directly responsible for delivering over 4,000 new residential units. For 12 years prior to joining Forest City, Jon was a practicing architect specializing in high-rise residential projects in the Washington, DC market.
