Christopher Huffer, AIA

Associate Principal

Chris Huffer manages the complexity of multifaceted mixed-use projects smoothly and generates workable and creative design solutions. With extensive hands on involvement in a wide variety of projects from ecclesial to residential buildings, Chris brings a vast amount of energy, knowledge, and expertise to the firm. During his time with SK+I, he has developed a depth of knowledge and has become instrumental in design development and coordination of high and mid-rise, multi-family, mixed-use residential projects.

Chris is involved in many facets of the project, from schematic design to the crafting of construction documents. He is a strong team player and collaborates and coordinates with project consultants and code officials. Chris enjoys the challenges of urban, mixed-use development and looks for every opportunity to impact and improve each project. Outside of the office, he is involved in the community and volunteers his time and expertise with AIA DC’s Architecture in the Schools Program, DCBIA’s Community Improvement Day, and Habitat for Humanity.
